About

I'm Steven, a developer at CloudSuite, based in Aalsmeer in the Netherlands.

After hours I build the tools I want to exist: self-hosted apps, Home Assistant add-ons, hardware dashboards and small utilities for my Arch setup. Most of it is Python and TypeScript, and most of it runs on a Kubernetes cluster in my own homelab.

Most projects start as something I wanted for myself: a retrospective board I can host myself, one place to track parcels from Dutch carriers, an e-paper dashboard on the wall, a visual card designer for Home Assistant. When one turns out useful, it gets a README and goes public on GitHub.

This site is one of them. It is built with Lit web components and a FastAPI backend, and every push to main is tested and deployed to the homelab cluster automatically.
